Caralee’s search for the best led her to the Gottman Institute, a reputable relationship counseling and therapy center that bases its methods and treatments on scientific data, rather than therapists’ personal and anecdotal experiences. She obtained her credentials as a Certified Gottman Therapist.
“One of the things I love about the research on marriage is that it buttresses up and reaffirms eternal Truths that have been taught throughout time, through multiple faith traditions,” Caralee says. “I believe that one day All Truth will be integrated into a whole, and both science (humanity used by God to reveal truth) and faith (humanity used by God to reveal truth) have a role in making that happen. Where they meet, it is powerful, inspiring and elevating.”
Caralee was the first Certified Gottman Therapist to open the “Art and Science of Love” couples workshop to the public in Colorado, hosting the first event in the Spring of 2015.
In addition to her certification as a Gottman Therapist, Caralee is a Certified Sexual Addiction Recovery Therapist (SART). These two credentials, plus her wealth of experience, allows her to effectively and compassionately help couples strengthen their relationships.
