What is Gottman's The Heart of Parenting Workshop?

Intelligence That Comes From The Heart

This workshop meets virtually for 90 minutes one day a week for 6 weeks.

Gain new insights and skills to:

  • Help your child cope with difficult emotions and situations,
  • Guide your child to develop emotional and social skills rather than becoming irritable, sulky, depressed, or impulsive.
  • Manage parent-child conflicts in a healthy, positive way.
  • Provide your child with the building blocks to raise their emotional IQ that will serve them well, even into adulthood.

Unlike other parenting theories that offer a hodgepodge of strategies for trying to control children's behavior, Emotion Coaching provide a framework for maintaining a close personal relationship with our children as they develop.*

Your role as your child's Emotion Coach changes as he or she grows. Learn how to adjust your coaching to accommodate your child's latest needs, fears, interests and competencies.
