Approach

I am delighted you have the courage to seek therapy for your family or relationship issues. As a therapist, I strive to help couples and families strengthen trust, commitment, understanding and empathy, thus improving family dynamics as a whole.
My clinical and internship hours as a psychotherapist with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family therapy have aided in developing my abilities. I’ve had various training, including Level I and Level II Gottman Couples Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Crisis Intervention, and Compassion Fatigue Certification.
I have an array of experience working with clients from different ethnic backgrounds. Alongside my training, I am bringing my life experience, which helps me empathize with you.
A little bit about myself: I was born in Lima, Peru. My family and I moved to Texas when I was 11. I am fluent in both English and Spanish.
