Approach

I am delighted you have the courage to seek therapy for your family or relationship issues. As a therapist, I strive to help couples and families strengthen trust, commitment, understanding and empathy, thus improving family dynamics as a whole.

My clinical and internship hours as a psychotherapist with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family therapy have aided in developing my abilities. I’ve had various training, including Level I, Level II and Level III Gottman Couples Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Crisis Intervention, and Compassion Fatigue Certification.

I have an array of experience working with clients from different ethnic backgrounds. Alongside my training, I am bringing my life experience, which helps me empathize with you.
A little bit about myself: I was born in Lima, Peru. My family and I moved to Texas when I was 11. I am fluent in both English and Spanish.
