The Art & Science of Love

Weekend Couples Workshops

A Gottman Couples Workshop for Connection, Communication, and Lasting Change

If you’re feeling stuck in the same conflict cycle, emotionally disconnected, or just missing the “we” you used to be—this weekend-style workshop is designed to help you rebuild friendship, manage conflict, strengthen trust, and learn practical tools you can use right away.

The Art & Science of Love is grounded in decades of relationship research from The Gottman Institute and focuses on the real skills that help couples thrive: emotional attunement, conflict management, fondness and admiration, and creating shared meaning.

A Note About 2026 Workshops

Caralee has facilitated The Art & Science of Love workshops since 2013. However, we won’t be offering this workshop in 2026.

If you’d like to be the first to know when future workshops are scheduled, join our newsletter and we’ll notify you as soon as dates open.

You Can Still Access Gottman-Based Care

Even without the workshop, you can absolutely get excellent care—and the same research-based tools—through therapy.

Option 1: Traditional Couples Therapy

A steady, week-to-week approach for couples who want support with: communication breakdowns, recurring conflict or “gridlock” issues, emotional distance or resentment, rebuilding trust after hurts or betrayals, navigating major life transitions

Best for: couples who want consistent support over time, with room to practice skills between sessions.

Option 2: Marathon (Intensive) Couples Therapy

A concentrated format that compresses months of work into longer, focused sessions—often over one or several days.

Best for: couples who want momentum quickly, are in crisis, are traveling from out of town, or need deep work without weekly scheduling.

You’ll still receive structure, assessment, and intervention rooted in Gottman Method principles—delivered in a focused, immersive way.

Whether you attend a future workshop or begin therapy now, our goal is the same:

help you move from reactivity to connection.
